Morocco Camel Treks - What to Expect
Zagora camel treks to the deep desert camp are approx. 1.5hrs each way and long enough for most people. For your safety, when camel trekking in Zagora, camels are tied together to form a camel caravan that is lead by a desert guide across the sandy dunes. Accommodation is a deep desert nomad-tented camp where the tents are hand-woven from sheep, goat and camel wool. On arrival at the camp the camels are hobbled and mint tea is served whilst dinner is freshly prepared and served under the stars, your driver guide will be with you in case you would need sth... Wake early to greet the sunrise and camel trek back across the dunes to shower and depart.
